Welcome to the Alberta Volunteer Management Initiative
Volunteer Alberta was approached by several representatives from CAVR and various volunteer management groups from across Alberta to host a provincial version to assist with the coordination of training and an advocate for the CAVR Certification process.
The Alberta Volunteer Management Initiative is a provincial associate of the Canadian Administrators of Volunteer Resources.
Training and professional development opportunities will be available throughout the province through local volunteer administration groups.
The level of professionalism in the nonprofit/voluntary sector has increased significantly and employers have been searching for a way to recognize the high standards maintained by quality staff. CAVR Certification is one way to step up and demonstrate your commitment to this sector.
