OASSIS Employee Benefits rates will decrease in April 2008!*

The OASSIS employee benefits program was established in 1990 to provide community support agencies access to affordable group benefits for their employees.

Effective April 1, 2009, OASSIS Employment Benefits will move its Health and Dental benefits from Sun Life to Green Shield Canada. Volunteer Alberta, OASSIS’s partner in providing cost effective employee benefits welcomes the change in provider.

Basic Life Insurance 19.8% decrease
Accidental Death & Dismemberment no change
Long Term Disability (taxable) 19.8% decrease
Short Term Disability 19.5% decrease
Extended Health Care (EHC) 5.7% decrease
Dental 4.1% decrease
Employee Assistance Plan no change
Overall Cost Impact 8.7% decrease
